Panels
Accompanying the Keynote Speakers, Start Up Meet Up will feature four panels discussions. Attendees are asked to select one panel per session.
Panel Session Topics – Panelists to be announced shortly
1. Marketing on a Bootstrap Budget – The Interweb: It’s no wonder the web has become central to many marketing campaigns — the audience is huge and it seems relatively cheap. But getting it to work for you can be difficult. In this panel, we will discuss how to use tools like social media, SEO, and SEM for all types of startups, and how to measure success or failure for these marketing techniques.
2. Networking – The Entrepreneurial Way: Creating a successful business isn’t truly done alone. You will need to strike partnerships with other startups, businesses, or corporations in order to generate customers, good will or even a potential exit. We’ll try to tease out some best practices for creating and leveraging these relationships.
3. Self Defense for Self Starters: Whether it’s patents or partnerships, whether on a napkin or watermark paper, find out the best ways to protect yourself and your firm.
4. Humans, Capital, & Human Capital: The right people can help you change the world, but how do you know they are the right people? Whether they are investors, partners or employees, making the right choices when it comes to people will be the biggest decisions you make as an entrepreneur.
